[RECAP] Bangtan Boys (BTS) took Singapore by storm last weekend as they held their first solo concert titled, “2014 BTS Live Trilogy in Singapore, Episode II: The Red Bullet“, which attracted over 2,850 concert attendees at The Star Theatre.  All seven members (Rap Monster, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, Jungkook) displayed fantastic showmanship throughout the entire show as they showcased their sexy charisma onstage and showered fans with plenty of fan-service.

Known for their powerful dance choreography, BTS kicked off the concert with an upbeat track, ‘N.O‘, followed by an addictive performance of ‘We Are Bulletproof Pt.2‘.

After a short introduction on stage, BTS resumed the concert with ‘We On‘ and ‘Hip Hop Lover‘, showcasing the hip-hop vibe of the group. Following, the boys also displayed their versatility with ballad songs such as ‘Let Me Know‘ and ‘Rain‘. During the interval, Suga exclaimed, “I am really surprised that you were all able to sing along with us for all the songs (we had performed so far)!”

Fans were further treated to an adorable side of BTS as the boys performed ‘Blanket Kick‘, leaving the fangirls screaming for more. Several fan projects for BTS were very successful as the members acknowledged the thoughtful projects and promised that they’ll continue to work hard just for the fans.

At The Red Bullet concert, we also witnessed the playful side of Bangtan Boys as they played a game of ‘Scissor, Paper, Stone’ where the losers (Jin, Jungkook, Jimin) were requested to demonstrate their aegyo (cuteness) as a forfeit. It was a complete joy watching the members tease one another on stage, showing how bonded and close they are as a group.

Like how it was no longer a dream to catch BTS in Singapore, we were lucky enough to watch the live performance of ‘No More Dream‘ where Jimin even teased the fans with his chocolate abs. The boys continued to mesmerize fans with hit performances like ‘Tomorrow‘, ‘Miss Right‘ and ‘I Like It‘, much to our excitement.

The concert was at its peak as BTS performed ‘If I Ruled the World‘ and ‘Cypher Pt.3: KILLER‘, before they brought the house down with ‘Hormone War‘. Towards the end of the concert, BTS drove the crowd wild with ‘Danger‘ and ‘Boy in Luv‘, completely sweeping us off our feet.

While it seemed like the night was still young, BTS invited fans to party with them during the encore stages as Rap Monster called out to the crowd, “Put your phones and cameras down, and put your hands up!”

It was sad to see them exit the stage, but not before the boys belted out ‘Rise of Bangtan‘ and ‘Satoori Rap’, leaving us an unforgettable memory as they wrapped up the concert. It was indeed an epic yet impressive show where we witnessed the Rise of the Bangtan Boys at Episode II of The Red Bullet in Singapore.
